Check using your Settings: –. You can find your iOS device IMEI no using your phone itself. This method can be used on any iOS device to find the number. Tap settings icon on your homepage. Now you have a list of options like Bluetooth, do not disturb, General. Tap the General Option. Tap About Option to view your iPhone details.
Every iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch has a serial number. iOS devices with cellular connectivity also have other unique identifiers including an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number, Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID), Cellular Data Number (CDN), and Integrated Circuit Card ID (ICCID) number. You might need this information when you register your device or request support. You can find this information:
iOS devices
On most iOS devices, you can tap Settings > General > About to see your device’s serial number, IMEI/MEID, and ICCID. If you’re using iOS 6 or later, you can tap and hold on the number to use the copy option, then paste this information into Apple registration or support forms.
If you haven’t yet set up your device, you can find the IMEI and ICCID by tapping the Info icon on the lower-right corner of the iOS setup assistant “Hello” screen.
If you can’t get to your About screen, use another option below based on the type of device you have.
iPad and iPod touch
Find the serial number for your iPad and iPod touch engraved on the back of your device, near the bottom. If you have an iPad (cellular model), you’ll also see the IMEI.
iPhone 5 and later, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus
Find the IMEI for your iPhone engraved on the back of your device, near the bottom. The MEID number is the first 14 digits of the IMEI.
Serial numbers are not engraved on the back of these devices.
iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (GSM model), and iPhone 4s

Original iPhone
You can find the serial number and IMEI for your iPhone engraved on the back of your device.
Packaging
If you still have your device’s original packaging, find your serial number and IMEI/MEID printed on the barcode label.
iTunes
Find the serial number for your device when you connect it to your computer and open iTunes.
- Connect your iOS device to your computer.
- Open iTunes (if it doesn’t open automatically).
- Locate your device.
- Click the Summary tab to see your device’s information.
iOS devices in recovery mode
For a device in recovery mode connected to a computer using OS X, you can find your serial number in iTunes.
For a device in recovery mode connected to a computer using Windows, you can use the Device Manager to find the serial number if the computer recognizes the device:
Under Other Devices, you might find an entry labeled Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode).
Under Universal Serial Bus controllers, you might find an entry labeled Apple Mobile Device Driver.
When you double-click this entry and select the Details tab, you should see a record under Device Instance Id that starts with “USBVID05AC…” and ends with a serial number similar to SRNM: [XXXXXXXXXXXX]. X symbolizes characters of the actual serial number.

In the Summary window:
- With your iPhone connected, click Phone Number to see the IMEI/MEID and ICCID.
- With your iPad (cellular model) connected, click Serial Number to see the CDN, IMEI/MEID, and ICCID.
If you can use iTunes on your computer but don’t have your device:
- Go to iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (PC).
- Click the Devices tab.
- Hold your mouse over a backup to display the serial number for that device. You’ll also see the IMEI/MEID and CDN for your iPhone or iPad (cellular model).

- IMEI: Also known as the International Mobile Equipment Identify number, the IMEI is yet another unique ID number for your device. It's used by carriers to identify valid devices on their network. You might need this number if your phone was stolen and you want to stop it from being used.
- Model Identifier: This is a number, not unique to your iPhone or iPad, that simply identifies the model of device you have. For instance, if you have an iPhone 7 Plus, your model identifier will be iPhone9,4.

How to find your iPhone or iPad's serial number, UDID, and more in iTunes
- Connect your iPhone to your Mac.
- Open iTunes from the Dock or Applications folder on your Mac.
Click the phone icon, and you'll see your device's serial number displayed right below your phone number.
- Click on Serial Number so that it changes to display your UDID.
Click UDID to display your iPhone's ECID.
